Course Description:
Group violin class is for the beginning violin student. We will learn basic technique in a group setting and learn to play songs by ear and note reading. Daily home practice is expected including the weekly class assignment and listening to the CD. A showcase at the end of the year will give students a chance to demonstrate their progress.

A note on rentals: Renting an instrument is a great way to try it out with minimal financial commitment.  The links above are just two resources for reliable rental instruments. Wherever you decide to rent (or buy), be sure it is a reputable shop. Don’t buy a violin from Amazon or Ebay: chances are good you will get a poor-quality instrument with a bad sound.
