Course Description: Students will travel from continent to continent around the globe investigating the land formations, culture, climate, natural resources, economy, religion, and government of each country. Discussions of historical and current events add relevance to the study of faraway regions. The text is filled with photographs and maps, and the student activity book incorporates fascinating first-person accounts to provide historical insights. Students explore the beauty and diversity of the earth, discuss how geography affects cultural development, and engage in hands-on activities to maximize learning in a fun, vibrant way.
