Required Materials: World History Student Text, 5th edition, BJU Press and Activities Book

Course Description: Examine the story of God’s world through a biblical lens as we unfold the lessons of the ages. Beginning with the ancient world, students of history follow the thread of human civilization through the major empires, medieval age, Renaissance and Reformation, eras of exploration and industry, European nation building, modern empire development, alliances, wars, and the modern era. Through discussions, presentations, debates, and competitive analysis, students will develop a stronger cultural identity and citizenry and be better equipped to defend their worldview. The activities book provides engaging eyewitness accounts through time as well as map exercises and chapter reviews.

*World History and HS English 2 are complimentary courses and are ideally taken simultaneously.

This course counts as 1 credit on a HS transcript.
